Richard at the Doctor

During a 100° heatwave
Doctor:  “You’ve been working outside in this heat?”
Richard: “Yes.  It’s not that bad”
Doctor: “Doesn’t that aggravate your asthma?”
Richard: “Sure.  Last week I was in a 10ft deep hole working for awhile.  That really made the asthma flare up.”
Doctor: [long pause] “Really?  You’re serious?  That’s what you do when your asthma is acting up?”
Richard: “Well, not always. . . “
